Violin Stars
Concert Hall
Come and see violin performances of your Violin
Stars Leaders, Kim & Christina!
This is a video of our Dec. 13th performance with the Port
Townsend Community Orchestra.  That was our first time playing
in front of a BIG audience!!!  We were absolutely terrified!  But it
really was an amazing experience!  We were so happy!

This is the 1st movement of the concerto.  Christina starts the
piece with the 2nd violins, and Kim comes in four bars later with
the 1st violins.
Concerto in D minor for two
violins by Bach - 1st mov.
OYStrs play Looney Tunes!
This video was filmed June 21, 2008.  This is the Olympic Youth
Strings performing Looney Tunes!  Our director, Dr. Alan Rawson,
arranged it for us.  It was one of our
many study exercises that
we practiced during the semester.  You'll hear us change keys a
whole bunch of times!  It was difficult, but educational for us.
Everyone liked it so well that we decided to include it on our
concert program!
Concerto in D minor for two
violins by Bach - 2nd mov.
This is the 2nd movement of the concerto.  Many people came up
to us after the concert saying that this movement nearly made
them cry!  It's a beautiful piece of music that we have always
loved and dreamed of performing together. It was a dream come
true to finally be given the opportunity to do it.
Concerto in D minor for two
violins by Bach - 3rd mov.
This is the 3rd movement of the concerto.  This movement is
fast and furious!  It's a real challenge to play it, and the
counting is tricky!  It was a lot of fun though!
